The story behind Stitchy Society
Sometimes in our hectic everyday lives, all we need is one thing:
A moment to breathe. A few quiet minutes in which the world becomes still, and we are simply allowed to be .
That's exactly what our DIY sewing boxes were created for – small creative breaks for body and soul.
I am Dominique , the founder of Stitchy Society .
Even as a child, I was surrounded by fabrics, yarns, and the quiet hum of a sewing machine.
My mother, a trained seamstress and clothing technician, had her own alteration tailoring shop at home – a little paradise of threads, scissors, fabric scraps and ideas.
There I learned how wonderful it is to create something with your own hands. How fulfilling it is when a small work of art emerges from a piece of fabric.
And how calm the mind becomes when one simply becomes absorbed in the activity.
I want to share this magic of making – this feeling of peace, warmth and pride – with you through my DIY sewing boxes .
They are designed so that you can relax, become mindful, and lose yourself in the flow while crafting.
Completely without a screen, completely without pressure – just you, your project and the feeling of creating something beautiful.

I am fortunate to still have my mother by my side today as an experienced professional. She provided me with everything I needed for the first prototypes –
and also shares her decades of experience in textile processing with me (and soon with you too!).
